The church did not begin until Isreals final rejection of thier messiah and that is why all the confusion in our interpreting the scriptures. The things that Christ said during His earthly time was toward Isreal. He ask the Father to forgive them on the cross and thier time was extended. In Acts they are selling everything they own, waiting for the kingdom. In the Pauline epistles they are taking up a collection for them. In the gospels He is telling about the kingdom not an extended stay on earth with the gentiles part of the package, that was a total mystery. If the dispensation we are in started in Acts 2 then why do we not sell everything we own. These people were waiting for the tribulation to usher in the new kingdom any second. Somewhere between mid-acts and acts 28 a transition took place. Beginning of acts for the 40 days after His rising He was “TEACHING THEM THINGS PERTAINING TO THE KINGDOM” In the gospels He said look at the birds they do not sow or reap. In the epistles Paul says if you do not work then you do not eat. The things that differ are not contradictions, they are two different ways God is dealing with two different people although we are all saved by grace. Together we are the PEOPLE OF GOD same word in greek for church or congregation. This is a bad post I am sorry, I am in a hurry. Perhaps later I can post a more thoughtful message. I would highly recommend a few mp3 messages that are really good by a man who really helped me at this url http://www.rightdivider.net/speakers/rj/rightdiv/

Hi Doug,

Thanks for the comments. You may very well be right. I’ve read most of E.W. Bullinger’s material, so know where you are coming from. Please keep me informed as to any new resources you make available.
